The intent of the program is to foster renewable energy development in NYS. This program allows you to take advantage of utility bill credits available from enrollment in New York State.

Credits vary month to month, based on actual solar production — longer days make solar energy availability greater in the summer months. However, savings will average 10% over the course of a year.

There are no installation requirements or other costs involved to participate. You can cancel without penalty with 90 days’ notice. You’re supporting green clean energy in New York State. The bill credits appear on your monthly electric utility bill.
